Artist Statement:
Through painting I explore complex interactions between modern life, the natural environment, and ourselves. Explorations of mark making have taken the forefront in conveying ideas through a journey into total abstraction. Taking cues from landscape and everyday experience I recreate an interpretation of memories, places, and experiences.
