Artist Statement:

As an artist, I reach through people’s emotions. I empower, inspire, and remind the world that we are all human and that we should not judge others’ by their own beauty and uniqueness. Reaching to people in this way is important because, in life, we need to stay focused and not lose ourselves in a world that’s astray. I use traditional tools, digital art softwares, and paint to express my work in both a cartoony and semi-realistic style. The use of comedy, motivational quotes, forms of movement, and vast amounts of color enhances my illustrations and character designs to spread smiles, laughter, and messages of encouragement. My body of work is about natural beauty and diversity. When creating, I am uplifted by the individuality of humankind and I encourage my audience to notice and embrace their own individuality, because they too, are the reason for why this world is a little less dull.
